Our founder and President, Dany Bouchedid, discusses the genesis of The Bouchedid Foundation
Dany Bouchedid is a relationship-driven entrepreneur, leader and visionary with a proven track record of success in building, growing and managing multi-million dollar enterprises. In 1999, he founded and is currently CEO of COLOTRAQ, a full-service sourcing and consulting firm that helps companies and institutions source data center colocation, managed hosting, cloud computing, network infrastructure and other related telecom services in 140 countries.
Dany has been published and quoted in various industry publications and has been a speaker at several industry conferences. He has served on several boards for both non-profits and corporations. Most recently he was the founding board President for The Technology Channel Association, the industry's first and only non-profit trade association.
Previously, he was a relationship manager in Chase Manhattan Bank’s Technology Services Division where he was responsible for cash management, US dollar clearing, and FX trading back-office solutions to multinational corporations. From 1992 to 1996, he developed automated systems used for monitoring investment portfolios as a member of Merrill Lynch’s Corporate Services Group.
As a former Adjunct Professor in Montclair State University’s School of Business, he has taught Strategic Management, Patterns of Entrepreneurship and Ecommerce. He holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and he has an active real estate license in the state of New Jersey.

Founder of Community Theatre Internationale, Kate spearheaded the production of an intercontinental soap opera and built a lifesaving network between residents in New York City and Kisumu, Kenya. She has trained educators around the world in her innovative approaches to development, lectured on creative entrepreneurship at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and contributed to the anthology Acting Together: Performance and the Creative Transformation of Conflict. Her blog, Create the Future, was featured in the Peacebuilding and the Arts Now Newsletter of Brandeis University.
A longtime community organizer, Kate fought to expand democracy as the New England Director of the Rainbow Lobby and founded a public relations firm that promoted grassroots organizations.

Steve is special counsel in the law firm of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, where he concentrates in all aspects of environmental law and related counseling of businesses. He also assists business clients in such emerging fields as environmental sustainability business auditing, renewable energy development and energy conservation infrastructure.
Other areas of emphasis in Steve's practice include litigation and regulatory compliance counseling in matters arising under CERCLA, the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and various state and local environmental laws, as well as environmental aspects of business transactions.
Steve has written numerous articles on various environmental law issues, including environmental considerations in real estate and corporate transactions, criminal enforcement of environmental laws and hazardous waste cleanup cost recovery. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars on environmental law topics. His recent speaking engagements have included such topics as "Water Rights and Resource Management," "Buying and Selling Contaminated Properties" and "New York's Brownfields Cleanup Program."
Armed with a bachelors degree in Financial Services from Monmouth University, Christian enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in the late 1980’s, serving in the Infantry during the First Gulf War. While in the Marines, Christian received graduate degrees in both Finance and Computer Information Systems Management.

Beyond the world of real estate, Christian is also a published author of four acclaimed books of poetry; a US patent holder; and an avid supporter of the Veterans and the treatment PTSD. He is the founder of the quarterly magazine, PTSD Journal.

Jeff is COO and Executive Vice President of Datatel Solutions Inc., which he co-founded in early 2003. Ponts and his business partner Daniel Langton have grown Datatel Solutions into a national entity with 8 channel managers supporting more than 500 VAR and MSP partners across the country.
Jeff has more than 25 years of industry experience covering various telecom services, cloud-based technologies and integration software with the vast majority of his experience in channel sales and management. He has been promoting the Partner to Partner movement since his company’s inception, and is an early investor in best of breed IT platform solutions companies.
He is a past member of the Channel Partners Advisory Board, Past President of the Technology Channel Association (TCA) Past co-chair of the CompTIA Telecom Advisory Council, and currently sits on CompTIA’s Distributor Advisory Council.
Jeff has also supported the growth needs of both TICC in Toggo Uganda, and GICC in Gomba Uganda. Both schools are in very rural Uganda Africa with visions that developed out of the jungle starting with 30 children, and now have more than 1500 students.
